How to use the
Stravoris Medical MCQ App.

A reference for getting things done in Stravoris, organised by task. Find the operation you need in the contents, and follow the steps.

Getting started

Set up your account and start practising.

Creating an account

  1. Go to Sign up (or from the login page, tap "Need an account? Sign up").

  2. Optionally enter your name - something the app can use to address you.

  3. Enter your email and a password (at least 8 characters).

  4. Re-enter it in Confirm password.

  5. If you have an access code, enter it in the Code field (optional).

  6. Tap "Sign up". Creating an account means you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy.

  7. When you see "Check your email to confirm your account", open the email and tap the confirmation link. If you don't see it, check your junk or spam folder.

  8. On the "Almost there" page, tap "Activate my account".

  9. Back on the login page, enter your email and password and tap "Log in".

Starting your free trial

Before you start: There's no button to press - the trial is automatic. Just create an account and you're on it.

  1. Just create an account without entering an access code - your 14-day free trial starts automatically.

  2. After confirming your email and logging in, you have full access right away.

  3. Check your trial any time on Account, under Subscription ("Free trial - N days left").

Subscribing

  1. Go to Subscribe (you're taken there automatically if your access lapses, or via the "Subscribe" link on Account).

  2. Tap the subscribe button.

  3. Enter your payment details on Stripe's secure checkout page.

  4. You return to a confirmation page - tap "Back to practice".

  5. If practice is still locked, wait a few seconds and refresh - access is confirmed by Stripe in the background.

Practising

Build a session your way and work through questions.

Building a session

Before you start: All practice starts from one place: tap Start, then pick a subject. One subject per session.

  1. Tap "Start".

  2. On "Choose a subject", pick a subject.

  3. Optionally refine: search or select Topics, set Question status and Difficulty, and set the Number of questions (10-60).

  4. Choose Study or Exam mode.

  5. Tap "Start study session" (or "Start exam").

If fewer than 10 questions match your filters, Start is disabled - widen your filters.

Choosing subjects

Before you start: All practice starts from one place: tap Start, then pick a subject. One subject per session.

  1. On "Choose a subject", optionally type in "Search subjects".

  2. Browse subjects grouped by heading (Core, Preclinical, Clinical Specialties). Each row shows the subject and its question count.

  3. Tap a subject to open the builder for it. (One subject per session.)

Practising only what you haven't seen

Before you start: This is the default, not a toggle you switch on - a fresh session already gives you only unseen questions.

  1. In the builder, find "Question status" - "Unseen" is already selected by default, so a fresh session gives you only questions you haven't seen.

  2. To broaden, tap "All" (or add "Incorrect" or "Saved"); the available count updates.

Study mode

Before you start: All practice starts from one place: tap Start, then pick a subject. One subject per session.

  1. Read the question (the header shows a "Study" chip and "Question X of N") and tap an answer.

  2. Tap "Submit answer".

  3. See the "Correct" / "Incorrect" verdict and the explanation, shown inline.

  4. Tap "Next question" ("Finish" on the last one).

  5. Optionally tap "Save" to bookmark a question, or "Note" to add a private note.

Exam mode

Before you start: All practice starts from one place: tap Start, then pick a subject. One subject per session.

  1. In the builder, under Mode tap the "Exam" card, then "Start exam".

  2. Confirm "Start exam?" - the clock starts and can't be paused.

  3. Answer questions by tapping an option (no verdict or explanation appears during the exam). You can change answers freely.

  4. Move with "Previous" / "Next"; optionally "Flag for review" and use the "Unanswered" / "Flagged" filters.

  5. Tap "Submit exam" at any time (or let the countdown auto-submit).

  6. Confirm if prompted about unanswered questions.

Reviewing

Go back over what you got wrong and what you saved.

Reviewing incorrect answers

  1. Open "Review".

  2. Use "Scope Review by subject" and pick a subject.

  3. Tap the "Incorrect" card ("N questions in <subject>").

  4. Tap "Review".

  5. Page through with "Next" - each question shows the verdict, explanation, and any note.

Your incorrect questions are collected across all your sessions in that subject.

Reviewing saved questions

  1. During a study session, tap "Save" on any question. Optionally tap "Note" to add a private note, then "Done".

  2. Open "Review".

  3. Pick a subject in "Scope Review by subject".

  4. Tap the "Saved" card, then "Review".

  5. Walk your saved questions - your private note shows above the explanation.

Save and Note are available in study mode; exam mode uses "Flag for review" instead.

Reviewing a completed exam

  1. After tapping "Submit exam", you land on the "Exam complete" results screen.

  2. Read your score and the Correct / Incorrect / Unanswered / Time tiles.

  3. Under "Review your paper", tap "Review all questions" (or review just incorrect, unanswered, or flagged).

  4. Page through with "Next" - each shows the verdict, options, and explanation.

  5. Tap "Back to results" to return.

Deleting a session

Before you start: Deleting a session is permanent - it cannot be undone.

  1. Open "Review" from the main navigation.

  2. Go to the "History" section, below the Incorrect and Saved pools.

  3. Use the "Study / Exam" toggle to show the track with the session you want to remove.

  4. Tap the trash icon at the right of that session's row (sessions are listed newest first).

  5. In the "Delete this session?" dialog, tap "Delete" (or "Cancel" to keep it).

  6. The session leaves your history and its answers are removed from your stats.

This corrects your progress: your accuracy recalculates without that session, and for a study session your coverage ("seen") is adjusted too. Your saved questions and notes are always kept. Deleting cannot be undone.

Progress

See how you're doing across subjects over time.

Reading your progress (accuracy and coverage)

  1. Tap "Progress" (it opens on "Your subjects").

  2. Read the two headline tiles: accuracy (for the selected date range) and coverage ("seen X / Y", all-time).

  3. Read the per-subject tiles - a range accuracy percentage with a High / Mid / Low band, and all-time coverage beneath.

  4. Adjust the "From" and "To" dates to change the accuracy window (coverage stays all-time).

  5. Reorder with Sort (A-Z, or accuracy high-low / low-high).

  6. Use "Scope progress by subject" to see that subject's over-time chart (Weekly / Monthly) and a by-topic table.

Two time views on one screen: accuracy is for the date range you choose; coverage is all-time.

Account

Manage your subscription and your data.

Managing your subscription

Before you start: Billing is handled on Stripe's secure portal. You'll need an active or trialing paid subscription to reach it.

  1. Open the account menu and choose "Account".

  2. In the "Subscription" section, read your current plan.

  3. Tap "Manage subscription" to open Stripe's secure Customer Portal, where you can update your card, view invoices, or cancel.

  4. When you're done, you return to Account (the plan label may take a moment to refresh).

Cancelling

Before you start: Billing is handled on Stripe's secure portal. You'll need an active or trialing paid subscription to reach it.

  1. Open "Account" and find "Subscription".

  2. Tap "Manage subscription" to open Stripe's Customer Portal.

  3. Cancel your subscription within the Stripe portal.

  4. Back on Account, your plan reads "cancelling - access until <date>". You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Your data

  1. Open "Account" and scroll to "Your data".

  2. Tap "Download notes (CSV)" for your notes (subject, topic, date, note).

  3. Tap "Download performance (CSV)" for your results (date, subject, topic, correct).

  4. To delete your account and data, email privacy@stravoris.com from your account email address (cancel any active subscription first via Manage subscription).

Your exports include only your own notes and results - never question content.
